The Fisher Fieldvue DVC6200 Digital Valve Controller is microprocessor based current-to-pneumatic instruments with linkage-less, non-contact travel feedback. Traditional positioning of a control valve can be obtained by converting the 4-20mA DC input signal from the process controller to a pneumatic output signal to the actuator. The Controller can achieve automatic calibration and configuration using the power of microprocessor technology. The Controller has communication capability via the HART communications protocol to provide instrument and valve diagnostic information. The DVC6200 can be installed on sliding-stem, rotary, single or double acting actuators.
The Fisher FIELDVUE DVC6200 instrument allows for your operation to run closer to setpoint, improving product quality with more accurate control. Using FIELDVUE Performance Diagnostics, valve operation is monitored online to evaluate performance and reliability.

The Fisher® Fieldvue™ DVC6200 Digital Valve Controller is a positioner that converts a 4-20mA control signal to a pneumatic output signal sent to an actuator on a control valve assembly. The controller provides quick responsiveness to changes in your process loop and precise control for set point changes and can detect position feedback problems and automatically revert to I/P transducer mode to keep the valve operational. The DVC6200 is configurable for sliding-stem valves, integral mounting to Fisher rotary actuators, and single- or double-acting actuators.

The FIELDVUE DVC6200 is a digital valve controller capable of operating using 4-20 mA, HART, Fieldbus, or Profibus communication protocols.
The basis of its operation is the conversion of a control signal into a pneumatic output controlling valve position. The DVC6200 uses linkageless, non-contacting technology for optimum valve positioning in the most reliable fashion with no wearing parts to maximize its lifecycle. The DVC6200 utilizes a modular design to easily replace critical components. Most components can be replaced in the field without replacing tubing or field wiring.

The DVC6200 can be mounted to most Fisher and non-Fisher pneumatic actuators and are interchangeable between different assemblies for minimizing spares requirements.
